Sprig of Shellailah Another old Irish song, remodeled and restored by Kenn. This was originally written by “Pleasant Ned” Lysaght, who became Kenn’s favorite Irish songwriter from the early 1800s. He’s the namesake of Kenn’s song “The Ghost of Pleasant Ned.”
Stars Won’t Speak
Symphomaniac Kenn took a class from Regis University in using the Finale music program. For the final, he had to compose a two or three minute piece. Without a Midi device or keyboard, he had to punch out the notes one at a time using mouse and curser. Tedious and clumsy, but this is what he came up with and passed the class.
